Headed over to Rutland with a forecast of dry weather with 20-25 knots.

Got there at about 11.30am and found a F4-5 blowing and a couple of people out on 9.0m's.

It was blowing on the drive over so rigged up my 7.5 and flow and got out there. Planing most of the time but then it cranked up so I chnaged down to a 6.4m. By the time I'd rigged it had increased even more so put loads of out haul on and had a few fast runs before coming back in an changing down to my 5.0m.

On the 5.0m I could at last handle to strongest gusts but the wind was gusty and the lulls were a pain.

But a good session 4-5 hours on the water. Gusty and choppy so no more progress on the gybes just the same as last time out.

Decent spot to sail from at Whitwell and £7.50 to launch but 2 hour drive is not so good. Might try Draycote sometime soon although the £20.00 launch fee puts me off a little.
